received his J.D. (Doctor of
Jurisprudence) in 2002 from
South Texas College of Law
in Houston, TX.
As a law student, Dr. Al-Chaer received numerous recognitions and awards,
including the following:
* Phi Beta Phi, International Legal Fraternity, Highest Grade award In
International Law (2001)
* Who’s Who among American Law Students (2001)
* Dean’s Honor List, South Texas College of Law (1999-2002)
* Outstanding Academic Achievement Award, South Texas College of Law (1997)
Elie Al-Chaer is a member of the
American Bar
Association (ABA); he is admitted to practice in the State of Texas
(2002) and the District of Columbia
(Washington DC; 2006). He is also very active in the field of biomedical
research and health care sciences. He has appeared as a guest speaker at
professional meetings in the United States and throughout the world.
As a trilingual scientist and a licensed attorney, Dr. Al-Chaer is a uniquely
effective advocate of the issues most important to health care, biomedical
research and intellectual property; he presents
